How amazing are these baskets?
Not so amazing is the $90.00 price tags for these beauties! So I thought there has to be an easier way to accomplish this look. I started by picking up a simple jute basket at Target for only $14.95. From there I used painters tape and sectioned off which area I wanted to
dip spray paint ( I had a can of cream spray paint leftover from the wedding). My biggest mistake was not covering the whole area up top and some residue sprayed through the basket material. I thought about trying to edit the end photo but then realized that the joys of DIY projects are the imperfections and learning what NOT to do along the way. Anyways, I am pleased with the end results and my wallet it happy as well!
