Weekend Recap : Superbowl Champs!

We had another busy but exciting weekend!  We had a typical Friday night at my mom's house that included Undercover Boss and Shark Tank.  Yes, Friday nights are becoming way to predictable for this 24-year-old!

Saturday morning began with a 3.5 mile run with Mya and an early wake up to take care of my mom and dogs.  After that I met up with Dustin because we had another 11:00 am meeting with our selected DJ.  I am feeling much better with our selection.  Last week, we met with a DJ who is fairly new (therefore less experience) and he was asking twice as much as the DJ we ended up selecting.  I also went to meet with our videographer afterwards in Tukwila.  Needless to say, there was lots of running around and checks that were written on Saturday.  After a hectic Costco run with Becky, I was ready to be home with my mom.  It is getting much harder to have "uninterrupted" time with her.  As the weekends are the best time to check off "to dos", especially for wedding items.  By the end of the day I was exhausted and fell asleep while my mom and I watched "The Gabby Douglas" documentary.

Sunday morning again started out with an early morning wake up to take of the troops and another run with Mya.  I like to make sure she gets a good amount of exercise in on the weekends and we all know how much she LOVES to run!

After the run it was time to quickly take a shower.  I had to run over to Georgia's house so she could notarize my birth certificate application.  Long story short - I never followed up with renewing my security documents after our house was broken into . . . 2.5 years ago!  Very stupid, Molly.

We took a few pictures before I headed out to meet the crew at Jim's house for the 7th annual Superbowl party!

My favorite picture of the day is one that Thayer and I created together, since we were rooting for opposing teams.

Time for the game and good food!

Beer koozies were provided by Georgia!

My cousin Ben and his adorable girlfriend also joined us at Jim's!

Fun events beside the Hawks win included my winning of the "Count the Skittles" contest.

Number of skittles in the jar: 812
Molly's guess: 812

The Amazon gift card is mine!

After all the fun was over, we drove over to Dustin's parent's house.  His grandmother was moved into a retirement community over the weekend and he had family in town.

By the time we got home I was dead exhausted.  I am not sure what it has been about the last 3-4 weeks, but by the time I leave my mom's house I feel completely wiped both physically and mentally.  This girl needs a break!
