Burger King vs. Dairy Queen

Last night was the first night alone with my mom in a few months.  Because she is completely bedridden (except for trips to the bathroom), I must admit I was very nervous.  Luckily, Aunt Becky had left me with complete instructions for the night which made pill dispensing easy.

Notice how many times a night she is required to take her medicine?

After arriving, I asked my mom what she wanted me to make for dinner.  After some thinking, my mom explains to me that she wanted the "$5.00 meal from Burger King".  She went into detail about wanting curly fries (only if they DIDN'T cost more), a burger with NO ketchup (she said she lost her taste for it) and anything but chocolate for her dessert.

So I hopped in my car, grabbed Mya, and left for Burger King.  

Once I was in the drive-thru the man said that they had no $5.00 meal box nor did they have curly fries.  Hm, okay I thought.  I thought my mom's medicine had something to do with this . . .

So I ended up getting just a normal meal, no dessert, no curly fries and no ketchup.

Once we sat down for dinner, we saw this commercial:

Oh sweet mom, mixing up her fast food promotions.  I just love her.  She is so cute and she ended up loving her Burger King meals anyways :).
